Your First Scan
WaybackScanner works in two automatic phases: scanning the Wayback Machine for archived URLs, then extracting and saving article content.
Phase 1 β Scan
Enter your domain URL
Type the website domain (e.g. example.com) in the URL field.
Set the year range
Enter From and To years to limit the archive search period.
Click Scanner
The app queries the Wayback Machine and retrieves all archived URLs for your domain.
Phase 2 β Automatic Extraction
For each URL found, WaybackScanner automatically downloads, cleans, validates, and saves the article β including images, title, category and keywords.
β Tip: Start without keyword filters to see all results, then refine using the Advanced Filters.
Advanced Filters
| Filter | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Exclude Folders | Ignores URLs with specific path segments | tag, category, author, page |
| Must Contain | Only extracts articles with ALL these words | dog, training |
| Must Exclude | Skips articles with ANY of these words | casino, promo |
| Max Results | Limits total URLs retrieved | 500 (default) |
